"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." — Romans 12:1
Because salvation is by grace, the whole of life becomes worship. In the Reformed tradition every honest calling — farming, teaching, trade, public service — is a vocation in which we serve God. We are stewards, not owners: of our time, talents, bodies, families, work and possessions.
Tithes & Offerings
Members return the tithe (a tenth of our increase) to the Lord’s storehouse, and give offerings freely beyond it — sustaining ministry, mission, welfare and the upkeep of the church (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:7). Harambee gatherings for church projects are a beloved Kenyan expression of this shared stewardship.
Holy Living
- Prayer — personal, family and corporate; our midweek prayers and keshas.
- Family life — family worship, marriage honour and godly parenting.
- Honesty & hard work — integrity at home, in business and in public life.
- Sobriety & self-control — our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit.
