Our Mission

To equip members and reach out to all, for effective service through preaching, teaching, wellness and enterprise development.

Our Mission

PCEA exists to equip members, reach out to all, for effective service

through preaching, teaching, wellness and enterprise development,

relying on the power of God.

Our Vision

To be a Great and Dynamic Godly Model Church for holistic service in pursuance of the Great Commission — “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations” (Matthew 28:19).

Our Core Values

  • God-fearing — reverence for the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
  • Integrity — honesty and uprightness in all we do.
  • Orderliness — “let all things be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40).
  • Hardworking — whatever we do, we do heartily, as to the Lord (Colossians 3:23).
  • Stewardship — faithful management of all God entrusts to us.
  • Servant leadership — leading as Christ led, by serving.

The Burning Bush

The emblem of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa is the burning bush of Exodus 3:2, bearing the Latin motto Nec Tamen Consumebatur — “yet it was not consumed.” Inherited from our Scottish Presbyterian heritage, it declares that the church, sustained by the presence of God, burns with His fire yet is never destroyed — through every trial, persecution and season.

How We Live It at Nkoroi

  • Worship — ordered, reverent, Bible-anchored services every Sunday.
  • Nurture — Church School, catechism, Bible study and midweek prayers that grow disciples.
  • Fellowship — Woman’s Guild, PCMF, Youth Fellowship and Brigade uniting every generation.
  • Outreach — evangelism, welfare and community service across Nkoroi and Eserian Parish.
