"Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." — Matthew 28:19
We worship one God in three persons — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — the same in substance, equal in power and glory. This is the faith confessed by the universal church from the beginning, which PCEA affirms through the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed.
- God the Father — Creator of heaven and earth, who sustains all things by His providence.
- God the Son — Jesus Christ, true God and true man, who died for our sins, rose again, ascended and will return in glory.
- God the Holy Spirit — who convicts, regenerates, sanctifies and empowers the church for witness and service.
The Apostles’ Creed is confessed in our worship — a living link with the faith of the apostles and the church of every age.
