Church School — Growing Young Disciples
Church School (Sunday School) meets every Sunday during the services. It is where our children learn the Christian faith through Bible stories, memory verses, songs, crafts and catechism — taught by dedicated, trained teachers. There is a class for every age:
- Crèche / Beginners — ages 0–3, with parents
- Nursery — ages 4–6
- Primary — ages 7–9
- Juniors — ages 10–12
- Intermediate / Teens — ages 13–15
- Senior Youth — ages 16 and above, who may then join the Youth Fellowship
Church School uses the PCEA children’s curriculum — a combined syllabus shared with the Brigade, so that Sunday School teachers and Brigade officers work hand in hand. Highlights of the year include Church School Sunday, holiday programmes and prize-giving days.
Catechism & first communion: older children and teens are prepared through catechism classes for confirmation, first communion and full communicant membership.
